Here and Then
Here and Then is an original abstract painting featuring deep black, rich purple and vibrant pink tones. Expressive textures and overlapping layers create a striking composition that explores the relationship between our past and who we are becoming.
Every experience leaves a trace. Every chapter of our lives shapes how we see the world, how we feel and how we show up in it. As we grow, we continuously build new layers of ourselves, leaving behind versions of who we once were to make room for who we are becoming.
Yet those earlier versions never truly disappear. They remain beneath the surface, quietly shaping the person we are today.
Through its rich textures, contrasting colours and partially concealed layers, Here and Then reflects this ongoing transformation - a reminder that we are made of everything we have lived through, even the parts we can no longer see.
Bold yet intimate, this artwork brings depth, character and a contemporary edge to modern interiors.
Hand-painted in acrylics on cotton canvas, it comes ready to display.
